Term One Core Subject Reflection-Posted November 18, 2010

Subject:	Strength Areas:	Areas to Improve:
Language Arts	I am a very good speller. I am able to match words to definitions well, spell words correctly, and recognize sounds of letters. I do a good job of planning essays, and going through the thought process of making an essay.	I could improve on recognizing verbs, adjectives, and other forms of speech. I could also improve on apply my essay planning into the essay well, and using more effective words.
Mathematics	I am good at geometry, addition, and multiplying. I am good at problem solving and working with fractions.	I could improve on working down fractions too their lowest terms, and understanding how fractions work.
Social Studies	I feel that I succeed in the historic era of Social Studies, and researching culture. I did a good job of getting sufficient information for my Pokot Essay and Culture Novel Project. I also did a good job of making my book trailer. I think that I can get work done quickly in Social Studies because I enjoy learning about history.	I should improve on taking research and incorporating into strong essays and writing projects. This may not relate to Social Studies, but I think I should work on my writing skills and recognizing good information between bad information and how to better put them into an essay or other final project.
Science	I am extremely strong in understanding the elements of Science. I am also good at incorporating Math into Science to help solve scientific questions.	I think I could work on going in depth and beyond the required knowledge. I find myself as a very strong Science student, so I think that I should study beyond the requirements. I think that this would be good for me because I am not only good at Science, but I also enjoy it.
